Hi Eddy, The Madison County Record is a weekly newspaper published by Alta Faubus, the former wife of the late Governor Orville Faubus. This paper has been in existence continually since the early 1900. I know that there is microfilm of various issues. I don't know exactly where the microfilm is available. The Madison County Record's address is P. O. Drawer A, Huntsville, Arkansas 72740 and the phone # is (501) 738-2141 and fax # is (501) 738-1250. A great number of funerals are directed by the Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville. Some are handled by Funeral Homes in Fayetteville and Springdale. Brashears however handles most of them.
