    3. Well, today started on the road to Springdale to hear Joy Russell of the Madison County Genealogical and Historical Society speak on "Dead Folks in Madison County Do Tell Tales" at the Shiloh Museum. There are interesting stories behind the peoples' deaths, and Joy, I really enjoyed it! Then I drove the few blocks to the Springdale Library, and came home with some more obituaries. These were mainly for Shelley. So, since I had to beat the working folks home, I will be on the road to the Fayetteville Library tomorrow bright and early. If any obits are'nt there, then I have exhausted all of the papers in Benton & Washington Counties, except for a very few really old ones, that I only have a month and year on If time permits, I will get started again on those. And yes, as one of the list members discovered today at the Shiloh Museum, I am a real person! LOL Hazel! Wilma

    3. Hello Wilma: This is a very unselfish thing you do, helping all these people....Thank you.... I enjoy reading your Obits even if I don't know them..... I am wondering if you might help me with my GGG-Grandfather who was killed at the Battle of Pea Ridge in 1862.(Confederate) I am very limited in my computer genealogy skills..... I am wondering if you might be able to find out where he is buried. His name is William Carroll Roark born 1814 in Tenn. I believe he married Elizabeth Shepherd and they moved to Madison Co. in 1833 or 1834 their first child (of 4) was born in Madison Co., Ark., in 1835. I found them in the 1840 census, but no mention of his wife.... Any help you can offer will be greatfully appreciated. Thank you very much... 3. Billieirene, my Roarks were also from Tenn and settled in Arkansas. I have it down somewhere which county they came from but it escapes me right now. Mine was also named William and wife is unknown to me. But his mama's name was katie Garret. - Debra BillieIrene <billieirene@dslextreme.com> wrote: is William Carroll Roark born 1814 in Tenn.
