Lewis Christopher Walker, born 1858 in Breathitt Co. KY, was the youngest son of Alexander Walker (born 1817, Knox Co. KY, died 14 Aug 1889, Madison Co. AR) and Polly "Sary" Allen (born 1818, Perry Co., KY; died after 1903), According to Madison Co. Cemetery Book #2, Alexander and Polly Walker are buried in the Brashears Cemetery. Lewis C. Walker was married twice, first to a Rachel, and then to a Maggie, both in Madison Co. AR. Children from first marriage (all born in Madison Co.) were Virgil A. (1879), Arminta (1881), Minerva (1884), and Owen (1888). Lewis married his second wife Maggie c 1889. Trying to determine if Rachel is Rachel Cornett, daughter of Archibald Cornett and Pollie (Mary) Ritchie. Lewis' older brother James Henry (Jim) Walker married Martha Ann Cornett, sister to Rachel.
