Madison County's north border was different in 1860's than it is today. At one time Madison County extended all the way to the Missouri border, and Eureka Springs was in Madison County for a short time. The Leatherwood that is located near Eureka Springs is the only one that I know of, and there is no Leatherwood in Madison County today.
