Mark, Sorry, I'm not familiar with a John Lamb RAINEY in our RAINEY line. Our RAINEY'S; three brothers William, James & Robert, came to the U.S. from Ireland in about Oct. 1792 landing in Baltimore, from there they went to PA., W.VA., OH. from there into IA., IN., IL., KS., AR., CO., S.D. and all over??? There were many John's.. My RAINEY that went to Madison Co. AR. was Ben, he had been in Graham & Gove Co's KS. before coming to Madison Co. in about 1908-10. The children married: Alma mar. Clarence HARRIS; Alta mar. Sam HARRIS; Ben mar. Merel REEVES; Mint never mar.; Alice mar. Ed HARRIS; Avis mar. SMITH; Erma mar. CHRISTIE.
