Susan was the widow of Isaac Piner b. date unk. in ILL. Isaac Piner and Susan had one child before Isaac died. Her name was Mary Isabelle PINER b June 22, 1862 ILL. After Isaac Piner died, Mary Isabelle was placed in a home of a neighbor until her Uncle Daniel Bayley and wife Lydia Ward, came and took her into their home. She lived with them until she married John Ball Jr. Mary married John BALL Jr. and second, Rufus Thomas Johnson. Susan Ward went on and remarried Pernell Fleming.
