    2. On Tuesday 12 December you wrote: Does anyone have a cemetery book of Huntsville Cemetery? Am searching for a William Tillery-son of Ida Irene Carrigan and William Orvel Tillery who are buried there. Thank you Cheri Hi, Following is some information that I have regarding William Orvel and Ida Irene Carrigan Tillery. Ida Irene is in my line. If William Orvel Tillery is the son of Thomas and Matilda Gabbard Tillery, he is also in my line. Matilda and John Preston Gabbard (my great-grandfather) were children of Elijah and Sarah Stephens Gabbard. As you can see from Ida Irene's obit, it lists one son (Mike). Is this the same person as your William Tillery? I have a book entitled "Obituaries, Northwest Arkansas Times" which lists William Orvel Tillery b. 5 December 1896 d. 24 August 1987. His obituary appeared in the Northwest Arkansas Times (Fayetteville) on 25 August 1987, page 2. He is listed also in a Huntsville Cemetery update part 2, in the Madison County Musings Vol. #12, Fall 1993, page 157 with the above birth and death information.. Below is Ida Irene Carrigan Tillery's obituary that was listed in the Madison County Record. Obituary: MADISON COUNTY RECORD, Thursday 27 April 2000, page 12 Irene Tillery, 89, of Elkins died Saturday, 22 April 2000 at Fayetteville Health & Rehab. She attended Fayetteville Business College and received her Nurses Degree at Missouri Methodist Nursing School in St. Joseph, Missouri. She was preceded in death by one brother, William Arly Carrigan. Survivors include: one son, Mike Tillery of Elkins; four sisters, Rada Mae Carter of Elkins, Nell Greenquist of Norfolk, Virginia and Millie Wince of Fayetteville; one grandchild and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. at Elkins Community Church with Reverend Jerry Friend officiating under the direction of Beard's Funeral Chapel of Fayetteville. Burial was in the Huntsville Cemetery. I hope that this information is of value to you. If you have any questions just let me know. JT Anderson [email protected]
