Hi, My ancestor Anderson Maddox Russell became a minister just after the Civil War, in Arkansas. Records for the American Baptist Conference (ABC) indicate that A.M. Russell served the New Hope Baptist Church, but did not know what town or county. I saw a reference to a church of the same name on the Madison Co. GenWeb site.
