She was the widow of Issac PINER. Issac and Susan had one child before Issac died. Her name was Mary Isabelle (Belle) PINER b 22 June 1862 IL. Issac Piner died when Mary was around 11 yrs old. She lived with another family until her Uncle Dan BAYLEY came and got her. She lived with his famiy until she married John BALL Jr. John BALL Jr. and Mary had 7 children, six lived. He died and Mary remarried to Rufus Thomas JOHNSON, s/o William (IL) and Sarah Ann WEAVER(IL) JOHNSON. Rufus and Mary had six children. Two, twins, died at birth.
