Madison County Researchers, I have been away from Madison County "researching" for over 6 months, and it's time to get back to looking for the Miller in-laws, out-laws, preachers and "hoss thieves" that roamed the NW Arkansas hills. Specifically, I am looking for info on my grandfather, his first wife (the grandmother I never met) and my dad's childhood activities in Madison County. 1 George Sherman Miller (my grandfather) b. Apr 16, 1865 in Indiana (?) Per death certificate d. Aug 20, 1945 in Claremore, OK 1900 US Census Bowen Twp, Madison Co, AR shows "Sherman Miller" b. 1865 in MO. The 1910 US Census Bowen Twp, Madison Co, AR shows "George S Miller" as 42 years of age and born in KS. + (1)Margaret Catherine Hull b. July 1874 in Madison County, AR d/o Comodore Hull and Mary Gilbert d. Abt 1912, probably in Aurora, Bowen Twp, Madison Co, AR. (Family legend says she was buried in the front yard of their home in Aurora). Or died about 1912 in Adair County, OK (No death certificate can be found in AR or OK. Margaret would have died after the birth of her 8th child, Bonnie Bell Miller.
