Sandra, I have a little in my files on your Bryants, that may be of help. This information is not proven out. Just a hint on where to look, gathered from here and there. William Bryant, born 1819, Tennessee. Wife: Martha Blakely, born 1821, Tennessee. Children: May Jane b. 19 Jul 1837, Tennessee, d. 18 Apr 1908. (m. Daniel Lane Gaskill); John b. 1840 Tennessee; Martha b. 1842 Tennessee; Cerilda b. 1844 Arkansas; James b. 1847 Arkansas; Amanda b. 1850 Arkansas. In the 1850 Census of Madison Co., James Blakely (Martha's brother?) b. 1819 in Tennessee, was living with them. Hope this will be of some help.
