Cora, There is 1911 Arkansas State Census of Confederate Veterans. I have seen the Arkansas census in book form at my local public library's genealogy collection and it is available from the Family History Centers. The only extant state census for Arkansas is 1865 Washington County, which is available in book form. You didn't ask about Louisiana, but I found this http://nutrias.org/~nopl/inv/1911/1911census.htm that might be of interest to someone. Check your local library for a copy of the Redbook or the Handybook which lists records by state and county. Research guides from the Family History Library (FHL) for AR, MO, and OK might be helpful: http://tinyurl.com/2wbp6x http://tinyurl.com/2tgkct http://tinyurl.com/32u58s http://www.argenweb.net/guide/census.htm Many counties have early tax records which have been microfilmed by the FHL, and could be used as a substitute for the census. The Scott County AR genealogy society has used several resources including their tax records to recreate missing census enumerations, which they have published in book form. The Missouri State Archives has a comprehensive list of microfilmed records available by county. Many of these can be borrowed on interlibrary loan. http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/county/croll.asp Terri Walker http://rachelcormany-asuvcw.moonfruit.com/ > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "cora miller" <coram@cableone.net> > To: <ArkansasChat@yahoogroups.com>; <ARWASHIN-L@rootsweb.com>; > <ARMADISO-L@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Tuesday, April 24, 2007 9:31 AM > Subject: [ARMADISO] where can I find > > >> where can I find '"state census " for arkansas,Oklahoma and mo. >> I have access to federal census >> would like to find state census. >> thanks >> cora miller >> blind in oklahoma >> Madison County, AR Genealogy >> http://members.aol.com/madcounty/mcindex.htm
