    3. Hi. Since I have just returned from Madison County after 4 months of research at "The Madison County Genealogy Society". I have lots of information in book form including death records, I may be able to help you . Contact me and we can see if I have any information you may be looking for. My family was and is still from Madison County, so I not only have books with information, but also a lot of "verbal history" from local people. Hope to hear from you soon. 3. Hello all, I am looking for a Madison Co. death record from 1905. The state site says that deaths were not recorded on a state level until 1914 but that some counties had earlier records. Does anyone know if Madison Co. has any earlier ones, and how to obtain them? Thanks for any help. Kristin Vaughn

    2. If You Could See Your Ancestors (Nellie Winslow Simmons Randall) If you could see your ancestors All standing in a row, Would you be proud of them or not? Or don't you really know? Some strange discoveries are made In climbing family trees. And some of them, you know, Do not particularly please. If you could see your ancestors All standing in a row, There might be some of them perhaps You shouldn't care to know. But here's another question Which requires a different view - If you could meet your ancestors Would they be proud of you?

    3. I always have a great day, even when I don't. Thanks for adding your option. I'm glad there are so many options available. At one time, we had to write a letter, send it, wait for a response, maybe make a response and possible include a check, wait for the letter to get there, wait for the check to clear and then wait for the item(s) ordered to come back. And those were the "Good Old Days"!? :0) Michael -----Original Message----- From: Joy Hobbs <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Saturday, August 26, 2000 7:19 AM Subject: Re: [ARMADISO-L] Genealogical search engine >I understand your thought - but I'm also showing other potential avenues for >the same info<g> >I know I saw on ebay some of the gene publications for the area where I live >at about $10. higher than what you can purchase back issues directly from >the group. 3. Why not just rent the newspaper film for about $3.50 thru your local FHC & make your own copy? Or get the film in at your local library for possibly even less? But, there is a slight difference of having the actual newspaper. ----- Original Message ----- From: Michael T.
