Joy, The booklets that I have appear to already be online at http://cypress.asumh.edu/WolfHouse/wolfintro.htm There is also the family tree pictured at the above site which is also in my booklets. I haven't had the time to read it all yet to see if I have any info which doesn't appear there, but I will look through the three booklets I have for mention of J. K. Wolf and let you know if I find anything. Also, thank you for sending the contents of the cemetery books. I had no idea there were also histories included. Well, there goes my checkbook balance!<g> Oh yes, I have some old obituaries that my Gramma Cuba Denney Baker clipped and saved. Would you be able to use the info from them for the Madison Co. Obits page? "Fading Memories" Volumes I, II, & III are copyrighted material. The copyright date in the first volume is 1989, volume three 1999. Carol Whittemore, of the Huntsville Newspaper, has been involved in this project for for almost twenty years. The index is not an every name index. This is a collection of interviews with Madison County seniors. There are delightful stories and photos. I took the books off my book shelf to check the copyright date and randomly open Volume I. The interview on that page was done by Carol in 1981. The person interviewed was George Cook, age 100. The following interview with Annie Todd Cook was done by Susan Seavy, I met Annie when I visited Arkansas with my grandfather in the late 1940's. Granddad and Annie's husband Tom were cousins. Needless to say I have read both those interviews several times previously. I have visited Madison County several times over the past five years researching my Ellis/Kelly line. So many of the families are connected in several generations. Reading "Fading Memories" is like visiting the friends and neighbors of my ancestors. I purchased all three issues and have found them delightful reading. I have learned so much about the history and the people of Madison County. The people interviewed talked about their family and neighbors. There are group photos of families and school classes, and photos of buildings and individuals no longer with us. I recommend those with roots in Madison county purchase all three volumes. I think the cost is only $15.00 plus postage. I feel purchasing the books was a very good investment. Sue, take Hwy 412 out of Springdale through Hindsville and then to Huntsville. When you first come into Huntsville, turn right on Hwy 74. Go about 1/4 mile and the location of the library will be on your left. Very small building. Here is the address: The office and library of MCGHS is located at the corner of Hwy 74 West and Mitchusson Park Road, 1/4 mile West of Huntsville. The library is staffed by volunteers. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday thru Friday (March thru October), Tuesday thru Thursday (November thru February). Hope this gets you there. Can someone help me locate what county the historic Wolf House is in? I have three old booklets full of wonderful info about this place and the families who settled there. I would like to share the info with the proper area. The town of Norfolk/North Fork on the White River is mentioned numerous times. Thank you! Nancy J. Dana, I would be happy to do that but feel like I need the permission of someone from the Madison Co. Genealogical Society before doing so. I have Vol. 1 and 2 of Fading Memories and just mailed my check today for Vol. 3 Also have Madison County Remembrances of the Past. But one thing I have found........these are mostly interviews and many, many names of their neighbors and friends are mentioned that aren't in the table of contents or the index. One for instance, they mention the name of the preacher who married them......Kelly Brashears.....but his name is not in the index. Nancy J. Has there been any thought of posting the Table of Contents or index to these three books on the internet so that we could decide which would be of interest to us? Also the cemetery books. I am not familiar enough with Madison County to know which of the cemetery books might contain the cemeteries I am interested in. The brief descriptions don't name them all. Dana
