    3. Hi list, I have all 3 Fading Memories Books and between my family and I we have all the Cem Books out so far. I also have books from other AR Counties and none of them give as much family and history information as the ones from the Madison County Historical Society. They tell you what row a person is buried in, if there are field stones, sunken places between graves, child size graves, etc. Under each person's name they have put as much info as they can about the person if known, ie: daughter of/son of/wife of/husband of/and usualy mention a census they appear on. Not everyone has this much information but a lot of the people do. There are also whole family lines mentioned if known and pictures. They are well worth the money if you have family in Madison County AR. The only thing I can think of that they would ever want to add to them is maybe information on where you might be able to send money to help keep up your family plots. Jeannia P.S/ Joy, Thanks so much for typing out all of the cemeteries! :) -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, October 11, 2000 11:57 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [ARMADISO-L] Re: Cemetery Books and Fading Memories It is not possible to post the index to the Fading Memories Books, since there is no index. 2. If you are a subscriber to "The Musings" you know that we are printed information about all of the school districts that ever existed in Madison County. We are in need of school pictures for our 2001 issues. If you have photos of these schools, we would like to hear from you. Please contact me before sending a photo, because we cannot print from a Xerox copy and I need to tell you what we need. Thanks for the help. School photos needed: Drakes Creek (aka Drakes Town) School Fancher School (northeast of Clifty, Arkansas) Dripping Springs aka Kings River School Panther Creek School, near Ball Creek (only in operation from 1896-1910) Phipps Chapel School aka Sky Kingdom, located 2 miles south of Combs Mountain View School ( in northwest corner of County) Free Will School (southeast of Boston) Upper Rock House School aka Pleasant Hill Dabney Creek School(near Delaney) Berry Branch School Withrow School Atkins School (only in operation from 1892 to 1903) Walnut Grove School (located on Reeds Creek, only in operation 1893-1901_ Bayley School (near Ball Creek) Rocky Grove School (2 miles north of Red Star) East Liberty School (northeast of Kingston) Also, we have already printed the school history of these schools, but we were unable to come up with photos of them at the time we printed it. So if you have photos of these schools, please let me know: Hickory Grove School (on Lynch Creek West of Clifty) Good Luck School (southwest of Georgetown) Fairview School (on Fleming Creek 2 1/2 miles South of St. Paul) Delaney's Creek School Long Valley School (3 miles South of Huntsville) Locust Mountain School (3 miles SOuth of Witter) Lake School (northwest of Alabam, operated from 1874-1924) Thank you for your help. I hope to hear from a lot of you. Joy Russell

    2. Nancy: I would be interested in the information on the Wolf House that you mentioned that you had. We have a grave in Madison County of J. K. Wolf. We published an article on the grave, which is in a field near where a Confederate regiment camped in 1862. He died that year and we don't know who he was or why he is there. The Wolf House is in another county, but there has been mention that our J. K. Wolf is somehow connected to the Wolf House. Joy Russell
