My Family lines are Gibson, Reynolds, Roark, Elmore, Tucker, Kilgore, Villines, Shanks, Holloway, Savage. I am interested in your Reynolds connection. I have a William Reynolds born 1813 who was the son of John Reynolds born?, married Nancy Grigg born ?... both buried in Ark.... Do you have any information on them? How is Nancy Grigg connected to your Gregg Family? Maybe she is a sister to Henry? My Reynolds line is through the brother of Willaim b. 1813, who was John G. Reynolds born 1809 and died in Benton Co., Ark. ?, married to Martha ? The name John Reynolds came from Cousin Roger Reynolds and Jason Reynolds 4-1-2000 Here's some of my info on John Reynolds. This information came from Janice and John Reynolds 3-1-2001 They're Cousins of my line. They live in Newton Co.,Arkansas. 1. Ann Quisenberry name for possible spouse. 2. He was listed in the Audrain Co., Missouri 1838 Personal Property Tax List where he owned 2 horses and 1 Cow. 3. 1840 Census of Audrain Co., Mo. has him living in Wilson Township. Edmond was born in 1846 in Lawrence Co. Mo. presumably as they were traveling from Audrain Co., Mo. to Benton Co., Arkansas. 4. 1850 Census of Benton Co., Arkansas shows him being married to Ellin, 5. 1860 Benton Co., Ar. cenusu he was married to Martha (Cynthia). 6. He purchased land in Benton Co., Ar. in 1853 (Land Records: Fayetteville Land Office; 5 Mar 1853: SE quarter of the NW quarter and the NE quarter of the SW quarter in Section 5, t 19N, r28 SW, 79 14/100 acres. He paid in gold. 7. He died after 1860 in Benton Co., Arkansas. 8. From Pioneer Families of Missouri By Wm. S. Bryan and Robert Rose Page 409 shows.... REYNOLDS- John Reynolds, of South Carolina, married Nancy Grigg, by whom he had- Allen, Joh, Sarah, Shadrack, Emily, William, Wiley, Judith, Joseph, and Durham. We welcomed little Kaylee Ann Fields into the world at 7:36 p.m. March 28, 2007. She weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz, and was 19 1/2 inches long. Daddy, Momma, and baby are doing fine! Hi, All! Just want to give a 'heads up" that the March obits will be delayed. My church is getting ready to move into our own building for out first service on Easter Sunday., and I was there 10 hours today waiting for deliveries, and setting up the office of our Music Minister, and shelving books, CD's etc.. Tomorrow, I am "vegging" out. Wednesday I have to be down to the hospital awaiting the arrival of new grandbaby ( labor induced), and Thursday a Dental appt. I am so behind on cataloguing the obits, so it will take me a few days to get caught up. I am the only "stay-at- home" person right now, so am on call to be at the church when the deliveries are made. Our Pastor and 9 others are in Haiti on a mission trip, and won't be back until Saturday, so several usually available people are'nt right now! Anyway, I have'nt fallen off the face of the earth, but just very, very busy on other things for the time being. Can't wait to get back to being of help to you all, and posting a few queries myself! The Masonic Grand Lodge of Arkansas is located in Little Rock. They have a web site and can be found with a web search. I have the address, but can not find it right at the moment. They will respond to E-mail. I don't know how far back their records go, or in what condition they may be in, but I think that any thing before the Civil War or about that time was lost in a fire.
