I've been stuck on the parents of Moses McCollough, Sr. for quite a while. My main source of info is a thin book left to me by my grandmother Anna Myrtle (McCollough) Bell covering the McCollough side of her family. Here is a sample of information... Moses McCollough Sr born 1794 in NC - died February 28, 1859 in Kingston, AR - married Mary Ellin Freed December 9, 1814 in Greene Co., TN. Mary Ellin (or Ellen) Freed born about 1794 in VA - died 1854 in Newton Co., AR - daughter of John Freed and Regina (Rife) Freed. I never have bee able to track down Moses Sr's parents. I came across some research on Mary Ellen Freed that appears to be the same Mary Ellin Freed that married Moses McCollough Sr. located at http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/b/a/i/Richard-C-Bailey/GENE6-0006.html The interesting thing is that this research lists Mary's husband as Moses Morris Krutsinger who coincidentally was born about 1795 in NC, and married Mary Ellen Freed on December 9, 1814 in Green TN. Does anyone have any information or clues on Moses Morris McCollough, Sr using the surname of Krutsinger at any point in time? I've attempted to contact the submitter but have never received a response back.... Help anyone? Thanks, Roger Comstock

There are rumors running rampant, that arkansasgravestones will not allow pictures posted on their site to be posted on any others, such as find- -grave.--NOT TRUE! Here is what the head office says in reply to this rumor: As far as the GPP not permitting anyone else to use a photo -- that isn't true at all. The person who owns the original photo has the copyright and can use it anywhere they wish. All that the "Terms of Use" page is trying to say is that if someone submits a COPY of a photo to the GPP Project -- we reserve the right to use the COPY given to us as we wish. In addition -- if someone wants to take a copy from the GPP site -- they need to get permission from the GPP site -- or the original submitter.
