Hi Lee, Willie CALICO Bohannan or Maybelle Parton maybe able to help you with your Hinds/Smith questions. Andrew Smith and Abigail Hinds are Willie's g or gg grandparents. There is a photo of Willie and her grandmother Hinds in Carol Whittemore' "FADING MEMORIES III, Stories of Madison County People and Places". I think the person in the photo is probably Nancy's sister. Willie has a wonderful oral history stories about the Hinds Family. Willie is related to us through the KELLY line. She has some wonderful Kelly stories as well. Maybelle is related to you through the Ellis line and a descendants of Smiths as well. I have not entered Maybelle's full Smith line in my computer, her g-grandparents were Jesse Daniel Smith & Tennessee Belle Gilbreath. Their daughter, Jessie Hazel, married Everette Trollinger, son or Fate Trollinger and Mary Naomi Ellis. Naomi was Uncle Jim's (James C ELLIS) daughter. One of the grandsons of Mary Naomi and Fate Trollinger, married a descendant from out Kelly line. My files basically follow the KELLY/ELLIS line. Hiram Kelly (1787 - 1862), father of Sarah Kelly (1817-after 1880) who married Joshua C Ellis (1814-1880). Children of Sarah & Joshua: William J. (1840 -?) married Matilda Jane COOK ( 1842 - 1904) Hiram Kelly (1842-1902) married Susan LANE 1844-1925) Joshua Thomas (1844 -1914) married 1st Mary Palestine PHILLIPS (1851-?) 2nd Georgianne ROBERTS (1865-1901) Mary Ann (1846-1888) married Jasper "Doc" COOK (1847-1932) James C. (1848-1907) married Nancy Ellen Nelson (1850-?) Adeline (1852-?) married O Connor or CONNOR Sarah Clementine (1853-1911) never married Contact me for additional information. Researching George Sherman MILLER (b 1865) and Margaret Catherine HULL: G S Miller is shown in the Aurora, Bowen Twp, Madison Co, AR 1900 US Census. He is shown as married to Margaret Catherine HULL, daughter of Comodore and Mary HULL. Same as on the 1910 US Census. Their 8 children, including my father Vollie Donald MILLER (1906-1988) are all listed. In the 1920 US Census for Adair Co OK, G S MILLER is listed as a widower. Margaret Catherine (HULL) MILLER died between 1912 & 1920 in either AR or OK. George Sherman MILLER died and was buried in Claremore OK in 1945. Can anyone help me with info about Margaret Catherine (HULL) MILLER? And / or G S MILLER prior to 1900? Jerry Miller Little Rock AR
