I would appreciate any information that you might have on Sarah, or her Father Martin Cox, if you have any. Thank you for your attention to this eMail response. Kenneth A. 3. Nancy I also received my copy of the Madison County Musings, and find it interesting and informative as always. One thing that I noticed, under the section that lists family reunions, there is a notice about a Nickens / Gregory / Kilgore reunion at Lake Tenkiller near Tahlequah Oklahoma this coming Summer. Anyone have anymore information on this other than what was listed in the Madison Co. Musings? Olan Watkins

    3. Yes, Jonelle, it was very helpful. I thank you and Martha Bell Ellis for the effort. I, too, am descended through Martin and Sarah Combs Johnson, via Sarah Susie Johnson and Nicholas Counts, Matilda Jane Counts and William E. Eubanks (as well as Talitha E. Counts and Arthur Luther Neil), Martha Ida Eubanks and Kerry Berry Duncan, to my Grandparents...Elsie Chloe Duncan and Olen Elvis Boyd. It was good to receive another confirmation! Kenneth A. Also, contains letters from one of my ancestors in the Daniel/Denney family. I already had copies but was nice to see them in print for others to use. Needless to say, I'm enjoying it:) Nancy J.

    3. Hello David, I see from the Madison County roll call that you are researching Hendersons, too. I've been researching my wife's great-grandfather, Bennett K. Henderson, who lived in Madison County from about the early 1830s to the 1860s. I found him in Missouri on the 1870 census. I knew from family history that he was in Colorado from the early 1870s until his death in 1903. I've only this year discovered the trail before Colorado. Bennett's parents were William Henderson and Margaret Boyle. I've gathered undocumented information from other researchers on the Internet that places William Henderson in Warren County, Tennessee before moving to Arkansas. He had 11 children that I know of, the oldest being James Henderson, who may have been an early pioneer in Madison County. I've tried to collect information on all of William's descendants in hopes of learning more about Bennett and the times in which he lived in Madison County. If any of this connects with your Henderson research, I'd be happy to exchange information with you. I have created a FamilyTreeMaker page for Bennett Henderson that may be useful to you: http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/w/h/i/Charles-W-Whiting/ Regards, Chuck Whiting ----- Original Message ----- From: DAVID MACKEY <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, April 22, 2000 6:55 PM Subject: [ARMADISO-L] roll call > I am researching the following surnames in Madison County > Ivie > Vaughan > Henderson > Harp > > > ==== ARMADISO Mailing List ==== > "Visit the Madison County, AR Web Page at: http://members.a > >
