    3. About a year or so ago I was doing research on my Hill line at the Madison County, Arkansas Historical Society. I came across an article that had a photo of Dr. John Robert Hill born at Beech Grove in Franklin County, Ark. The son of Robert Hill and Susan Johnson Hill. Dr. Robert Hill married Mary Ellen Wood daughter of John M.C. Wood a professional saddle maker. I have not been able to connect this family with mine however they are from the same county in Arkansas and several of the family names are the same. This is a 3 page article if you are interested in it I will e-mail it to you. I am hoping someone out there will be able to help me make a connection with this family. Lenora Hill Watkins

    3. No, it is William Neal and Sarah Catherine Guinn...their 50th anniversary I believe. There was a bunch missed, but it won't make "no never mind". Johnson, huh? Let's mix and match because there is a huge Johnson influence in my ancestry. I'm rushed at the moment, so send me your direct eMail and I will provide some of the Johnson information I have as soon as possible. In fact, if you wish, send me a snail mail address and I can send the family history pages from my draft tree; we can then see who might be who in the zoo. 3. Hello Kenneth, I received those wonderful pictures, thank you so much! My mom had the group picture. She knew everyone in the picture and I wrote the names down. I will look for that list. The group picture was taken at William and Sarah's 50th wedding anniv. At the time of this picture my grandfather John Coleman Neal had the flu and was in the house. His wife, my grandmother, Theresa LaVada (Johnson) Neal "Vada", is on the right back row between the lady in the dark dress and the lady holding the baby. My mother, Audie Leota (Neal) McCoy is the little girl standing in from of her. Wasn't Emmeline a beautiful girl? I just can't tell you what it means to me to have her pictures in my collection. 3. Your Mom is standing next to my Grandfather - Olen Elvis Boyd. The lady with the child, next to your Grandmother, is Myrtle (Neal) Boyd; she was the youngest of three sisters. Aunt Rose is on the far left in the back row, Emmeline is between the 2 men in the back row, just off center to the right. This is how my Mother was "taught" regarding who's who as could best be remembered. But, tell me the story anyway. I'd love to hear it. If your information is more confirmed than mine. let me know. We both will understand, as these projects progress, that memories will fade with time; most are only half right 10% of the time. 1. [ARMADISO-L] Marriage index help
    2. Kristin Vaughn
    3. I'm wondering if anyone knows if there is a statewide marriage index for Arkansas? I'm trying to find a particular marriage, but cannot find it in the county of residence or nearby counties. I don't even know for certain that this couple was married in Arkansas but it seems most likely. Thanks for any and all help. Kristin Vaughn
