My father was Pete(r) Norwood Mayhew (born 4/1/1884); Pete came to AR (about 1889)with his grandmother, Sarah E. Mayhew (b.1846) and an uncle, Thomas J. Mayhew(b.5/1873). They settled around Lonoke. Pete's Mother was L. E. (possibly Lew Ella) Mayhew. L.E. Mayhew married J.M. Griffin, 11/30/1888, and had sev. more children (Dave, Herbert, Emmett, Opie). Info on any of above might be helpful.
