Sherryl does it strictly as a fund raiser for the museum. She will expect a donation when she finishes for her efforts. Sherryl will ask that you write what you know already and what you hope to find. As she keeps a running record of who is looking for what, she may even find more later. She will go to the history commission in Little Rock to search. To be honest with you, I never realized that the Cabot area had enough timber to support a saw mill at that time. The south end of Lonoke County was covered over with sawmills and timber way back. Quite a few people left this area heading for Oklahoma around the turn of the century. Good luck in your search.
