Hi Sue, My ancestor's sister married a Bell and lived in Lonoke. Her name was Mary Ann Elizabeth Tanner and her husband's name was Joseph C. Bell of Mississippi. She was only 18 when she died. Her sister Amanda Carolina Tanner also married a William F. Bell in Marshall Co MS and they ended up in Pope Co AR. He was the son Thomas and Elizabeth Bell (who may have been a widow Lang). Finally, a third sister Prudence Rosanna Catherine Tanner m. a Samuel Bell Kirk in Lonoke. His parents were George Kirk and Frances R. Bell. I'm sure all these Bells must be related.
