My g-grandfather, William Washington Carter, came to Lonoke Co. to help run the sawmill in about 1895. Charles Wolfe was married to his sister Effie. W. W. Carter married Hattie Bradford 25 Nov. 1896 in Lonoke Co. (Hattie was daughter of Joseph Hamilton Bradford and Rebecca Lieu Celestial Hicks.) The Wolfes moved on to Oklahoma Territory about 1899, and the Carters followed about 1903. I'd appreciate any information about these people or the sawmill itself.
