I was raised in Tampa, Fl - currently in the Navy and live in Charleston, SC. My hobby for the last 20 years has been the Amaden family history. I'm currently working with another cousin on a book. Otho Gates Amaden was the originator of the Lonoke Amaden family. He came there about 1905 and married Gernsie Drucilla Howard on Dec 23, 1909 in Lonoke County. Otho was born on Nov 7, 1874 in Milford, Defiance County, Ohio, son of Henry Amaden and Harriette Celestia Wilcox. Henry's brother John is my great great grandfather. My last record of Otho is in 1925 when he was listed in the distribution of his mother's estate. His wife "Drucie" is listed as a widow in the 1930 census. Based on what I have, I suspect that you might be the daughter of Howard Miles Amaden.
