If you have not already, I would think you might want to read earlier in the Lonoke County web site where I suggested Sherryl Miller to an individual. She actually is your best bet having helped folks from all over. Everything is stirctly on the up and up. Do you happen to know in which area of Lonoke County she was born in? That is a big clue as to what kind of work her dad Cleve was doing, the cemetery someone may be buried in, etc. I checked the Mulberry Cemetery book and there is only one Ezell listed in it. Some other old cemeteries are Union Valley, Tomberlin, and Weeden. Lonoke County at the time she was born here, was considered one of the better places in the state to be. As far as being Indian, unless someone happened to sign up for the Indian roll a long time ago, you may be out of luck on that. Lots of folks in this area say such, but proving it is another thing. No one doubts it, but folks just for the most part back at those times, avoided anything that looked like government. There is a man named Ezell who is Mr. Civil War in this area who posts frequently in the Arkansas Civil War web site. His dad was a preacher and he still works for the state, I believe. Good luck, Linda
