If so they are both buried in Bayou Meto Cemetery both dying abt. 1865. A listing of Bayou Meto inscriptions can be found at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~cramsey/bayou-meto.html. I believe Matthew and Darcus' marriage date is also listed. Mary is on the 1870 Gray Twp. census living with the Buell famly. In 1873 Pulaski County annexed part of Gray Twp. to Lonoke County. Mary and Marcus married 20 Aug. 1876 in Lonoke County (Book B, Page 169). In 1880 the Bakers where living in Lonoke. I have not found where James and Elizabeth are buried yet. Elizabeth died before 1880 (James is listed as a widower). I'll keep trying to look for the Bakers. If you'd like I can try to drop by Bayou Meto sometime and photograph the tombstone (if I can find it) of the Nichols. Laurie
