I have a suggestion for you. There are cemetery books for Lonoke County. More than likely he is buried at Hamilton or some of those out lying places around Carlisle if he is not in the one at Carlisle. Write Sherryl Miller and ask her to look for such. She is with the Lonoke County Museum, at PO Box 873, Lonoke, Ar. 72086. If he has a marked grave and is in this county, she can tell by simply looking through the books. She does this as a fund raiser for the local museum. She may be able to find the obit too which probably has information you are wanting. More than likely it appeared in the Carlisle Independent at the time. If you will run a search, you can find the now version on the web. Sherryl does go to the History commission in Little Rock to search, if need be. As Mr. Walker was up in years as we say, was he in a nursing home at the time? That in itself might be clue. I believe there are two at Carlisle right now. Did he connect to some of these small communities around in the county?
