I have a suggestion for you. Write Sherryl Miller and ask her to help you. She is with the Lonoke County Museum, at PO Box 873, Lonoke, Ar. 72086. She does this as strictly as a fund raiser for the local museum, the Lonoke County Museum which is scheduled to begin construction shortly. Unless you find a long lost cousin, she is probably your best bet. Sherryl is a whiz at the old records having things for me there was no way I could have ever found. She also keeps a running records of who is searching for whom. Sherryl does go to the History commission in Little Rock to search, if need be. As the lady was up in years, was she in a nursing home at the time? Did she connect to some of these small communities around in the county? If you live close enough, Sherryl can meet you at the local library and assist you in your search. Good luck!
