    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Cooper Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/VV.2ADI/662 Message Board Post: I am looking for information on a Cornelius Cooper b 1820 Tennessee, married to Hannah B 1824 in England. They were on the 1850 Arkansas census, but not on the 1860 census. Had 2 daughters and 1 son on the 1850 Prairie census, but these children were listed without parents on the 1860's Pulaski County census: Lucinda b 1843 Arkansas, Mary J. b 1845 Arkansas, Daniel b 1849. Possibly had a daughter Dica b 1854 Arkansas. On the 1860 Pulaski census was living with the Levi Herrod (Herred on the census) family in same county as the other children. Duica later married a Dorsey. I would LOVE to find some information on the other Cooper children and information on Cornelius and Hannah. Thanks Linda

We had talked about me going out and making a picture of the area where your relative died and was buried in. Well, I took the pictures today. Of course it looks much like now time, but the lay of the land has not changed, just what's on top. I have also found out some information this week about Hicks Station. It will probably be at least a week before I get the pictures developed. Please write me at MissLata@aol.com so I know where to send them when they are developed. I will look forward to your reply. 2. Becky Roberts
    3. List Members, For those of you would have requested lookups and have not heard from me, it is not my fault. I have answered everyone that has put in a request, but for some reason my replies are not showing up on the list. So, I wanted you to know that I am not ignoring your request. If for some reason they never come through, or you never get a reply from me, then please email me directly and I will resend them. I have spoken to Rootsweb and they say there is nothing wrong. I have also spoken to my internet provider and they say there is no problem on their end, so I have no answer for this problem. But, I just wanted to make people aware that some messages being sent are not being received. Thanks, Becky Roberts Pilotsmom@classicnet.net "I only work on Genealogy on days that end in "Y"." - Author Unknown

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/VV.2ADI/661.1 Message Board Post: Hello. I would suggest you contact Sherryl Miller at the Lonoke County Museum, PO Box 873, Lonoke, Arkansas 72086. She does research for people all the time from all over the United States. She will expect a donation to the museum building fund for her efforts as she will go to the History Commission in Little Rock and search. Sherryl will tell you where she looked as well as add your name to a running record she keeps of people who are searching for certain families. Sherryl is highly respected in this area having written at least three books. Unless you can find a relative or someone who really knows what they are talking about, she is probably your best bet. I know of a lady right now who is trying to get some information straight that resulted because one of those long lost cousins passing around something that was not documented. I also have a case of that in my own family right now, so be careful on that issue. Good luck!

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Cooper, Herrod, Herod Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/VV.2ADI/661 Message Board Post: I am looking for information on Levi Herod listed on the 1850 Marion County census. He is listed with his wife Rhodice, daughter Elizabeth, son James and another orphan child. I am looking for information on Elizabeth, she possibly married a Cooper. The Herod family purchased land in Prairie County in 1857-58 and moved there, but there is no record of Elizabeth moving with them. They are on the 1860 and 1870 census for Prairie County, but no Elizabeth, but there is a Dica P. Cooper (also known as Dicy)age 5 on the 1860 census and age 15 on the 1870 census. Dicy later married a Dorsey, they are buried in Sumner Cemetery near Cabot AR. I am interested in locating Elizabeth and any other information on this family while in Marion, Lonoke, Prairie or Pulaski Counties. Thanks Linda

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/VV.2ADI/149.1 Message Board Post: Virginia, I know this is a long time after you posted your question, but I found it on an internet search. I think the Ida Percefull you have is Ida Estolie Hicks, b. 24 Dec 1873 d. 8 Nov 1970.She is buried om the Lonoke City Cemetery. She married George William David Percefull 17 Mar 1897. You May already have this, but hope this helps. The Ida That Suanne Eshleman has might be a fit. However her facts about the 1870 census are wrong. Cath. Perciful's husband John House was still living in 1870. She was living at home and is listed on the census with him. Since Laura Gray Percefull Boyd was from NC and the Cath Perciful was also from there she might be a relative of Laura's. Hope this helps. Ann

Depart. of Health Di of Vital Records Slot 44 at 4815 W. Markham St Little Rock Ark 72205-386 or call 501-661-2174. They usually charge about $10 if they find the Death Cert. or not, but you'll need a application from them to look up the name. Expensive. Some records go back to 1917.

Clara Huber was my grandmother's sister and she ran away from home (eloped) and married L.Grantham and was in England Arkansas when she died in 1923. She was 28 yoa when she died and her body was sent back to Blevins, Falls County, Texas for burial. I can't find a death cert. in Texas. (Which is not unusually since Texas did not keep complete records until after 1931). I was hoping something might have been filed in Arkansas or in Lonoke County. Billie Brem
