Rowena I had a letter from my cousin, and she had received your info needed. She was having company for about a month. And sounded reluctant to send her family info to someone she did not know. as they get older they are suspicious on giving out their family things, and most of it is on the internet now. I will write her and tell her that people working onfamily lines, are not going to spread it all over, maybe that will help. they was telling me about a man here in our genealogy group, that did so much research on his family, and wanted to put it in a book form, for family members. When he told his older brothers back in VA they were mad and said if put their names and info in it they would sue him...... He put it in, but is very careful not to let them see a copy, after they pass on some of their children might want a copy. Let me knowhow you are related to her father, she could not remember any names that you told her, that she had met. Le me know Mildred
Hi Mildred: My Grandfather Charles O. Amos and Her Grandmother Emily M. Grayson were brothers and sisters,so that made her father and my father first cousins and that would make us 2nd or 3rd cousins, I didn't take the time to figure it out but her father, Houston was my second cousin on Dad's side of the family. Tell her I will be glad to share the information with her if she would like a copy of what I have. Tell her I do not put my information on the internet it is strickly for family use and that is all. Again, thanks for your help. You are so kind to do this for me.
