Steven Shelby Hampton was born in Tarrant County Texas 1863. His Father Alexander Hampton was from Surry County, North Carolina. His first wife was Elender Maria Childs Hickman. The mother of Steven was Martha Robeson born 1833 in Rockingham N.C. Thanks for asking.
