The John Taylor I am looking for could very well be your John Wesley Taylor . I don't know about the wesley but the birth yr. would fit. My John Taylor was born abt 1840-41 in KY. He shows up married to Caroline on the 1870 AR census and I don't know his middle name or initial. I would appreciate any help with Caroline's maiden name and will explore all possibilities.
