Teressa, I could be wrong on this, however, I believe Sylvester Workman/Wortman was out of the Wortman line of Searcy County, Arkansas. Many of them along with other related family lines, moved down into Logan County, and on into Haskell County, Okla. I may be confused..........I stay that way. The only connection I have to Workman/Wortman is thru Charity Wortman who married E. B. Jameson in Searcy Co., Ark. They lived and died in Indian Territory, now Haskell County, Oklahoma. My great great aunt and uncle.
