My primary families I am searching for in Logan, Arkansas are: William Penn b 1828 TN and Martha Elizabeth Smith b 1834 TN (daughter of William and Francesca Smith) Solomon b 1854 MS and Martha Susan Gotcher b 1859 AR (daughter of William Penn and Martha Elizabeth Smith) Martha Brown b May 1880 - Short Mountain, Logan AR The other family names mostly went into Arkansas before and during the Civil War and are collateral families. My Loveless/Alexander lines would be from Alabama, Crawford from Georgia, and Underwood from Tennessee, Georgia, originating in Wilkes, North Carolina descended from Joel Underwood and Lucinda Loveless. Thank you for any assistance that can be provided, especially for Martha as she must have married before the Brown family went on to Mena, AR, then finally Denton, TX.
