I am looking for information on the John and Sarah Jane (Trickett) Chancellor family who were located near Booneville in Logan County in the 1870 and 1880 Census in Arkansas. My grandfather, Edmund Franklin Chancellor was one of the younger children of this marriage. The story that I am told by the family relates that Edmund moved to Oklahoma Territory shortly after 1890 around the time of the death of his parents. I would like any information relating to this, including burial info for John and Sarah Jane if possible. It seems that they would have been in their 50s or 60s at the time of their deaths if this is true. The oldest son Thomas Nelson Chancellor was married there in Logan County, we have info on that. He moved to Oklahoma Territory around this time also. Edmund moved in with a family in SE Oklahoma and lived in a soddy and eventually married this familys daughter. I have always heard that Frank, as my grandfather was called, was a very short man with bright red hair. I have other information concerning him for anyone else researching this line.
