I made a trip down to our Historical Society to learn of sanitarium in our area. From what I understand there was one in Talihina which is in LeFlore County, and one in McAlester (50 miles) which is in Pittsburg County. The gentleman who I spoke to said he didn't know of one around here, (Stigler) but that didn't mean there wasn't one. He said they were all over the place for a while. However, if you go to McCurtain Genealogical Society website you will find a listing for everyone buried in Haskell Co Cemeteries so far. There have been several unnamed cemeteries found recently that are not yet on line. BSC
