Carolyn Ladd Bradley, I descend from Lucinda McCaslin's sister, Charity, and her husband William C. Hicks. As to whether Jack Hicks and William C. Hicks were related, I suspect they were but have no evidence. It doesn't help things that the children of William C. Hicks called Jack "Uncle Jack", as his marriage to Charity's sister secures that spot for him. It is quite interesting that they settled in the same area and married sisters. Keith Sanderson
