I really appreciate knowing that on the LDS web site they had the 1880 census posted. It has been a treasure of information for me. I have a challenge though. A couple and their children should be listed in the Johnson County Ark. census. They were a prominent family. They may, however, been living temporarily in Indian Territory. Since that was not yet Oklahoma, Indian Territory is not listed as a search site. Where would one find census for territories who were not yet states? History Commission? Does anyone know or another on line site for such? Thanks.
