my William D Wilson came to Logan county late 1800"s he is buried in Lyes Chapel outside Booneville. His sister Elfida was married to Willis Barlow. His wife was Katie Q McClure whom I have no info on at all other than she was born or raised in San Antonio Texas and often said she had plyed as a child in the Alamo. My grandmother Jennie May was William Davids daughter by his second wife married into the Ervin family who came to Booneville earlier. any information on these families would be appreciated Doug Parman you may e-mail me at [email protected],com
Doug, you do know that the wife of William D., Katie Q, is also buried in the Lyles Cemetery, 3 miles west of Booneville, don't you? Also, there is a Robert L. Wilson b. 1881 and died the same year as Katie, 1904. I have family buried in that cemetery also. Sorry, I do not know anything about your Wilson family but the Lyles Cemetery caught my eye.
