I have the John H. White born 12 Jun 1867 buried Ellsworth Cemetery married to Adalaide A. Gwaltney, born 11 Aug 1870 and died 21 Jun 1897. I have one child for them, Orma Malinda born 16 Apr 1895. Would this be the Addie (Raney) you mentioned as the first apouse? Barbara Hamilton
Dear Barbara, I believe you are correct. I had taken the Addie Raney name from the Ellsworth Cemetery book, and I had no other verification of its veracity. However, even though Addie's tombstone may say she was born in 1870, I believe she was probably born in 1871. She is only 8 on the 1880 census, and her sister Katie is 10. Thank you for bringing this to my attention and helping me get my information correct. I have two other children for Addie and John: Rayfil C. "Raphie" White b. May 1891 in Arkansas; married R. A.
