    3. Lindy, National Springs was a very early community that was located just to the south of Ratcliff and Caulksville. The springs were the draw for settlement. The springs lost their appeal, and when the Railroad built their line just to the North, folks eventually relocated their businesses and homes to Ratcliff and Caulksville.
