At one time there was a small motel called the Blue Bird Motel in Booneville. I am fairly certain it was on Hi 10. I also think this is the motel that my husband's father, E. H. Harwell, pointed out to me on one of our trips to Booneville; saying he did the construction work on it in the mid - 1940s. My parents-in-law left Booneville by 1947-48; so I know it was built before then. I looked through their pictures; but didn't find a picture of the Blue Bird. Note to D.
