Usually the school teachers for Wildcat Hollow stayed at his house.[5] Robert P. was a farmer who hunted for his meat. Robert P. Raulston was a "wood craftsman and farmer," belonged to the Church of Christ, and was "approximately 6 feet tall, 170 pounds, and dark complexion." [46] Per Marjorie Hawkins Bunce - "My granddaddy [R.P.] nicknamed me Jack. Everyone in Arkansas called me Jack when I was small, until we left Arkansas." After Robert P. died in 1944, his son, William Robert (Bob), had their names and dates put on it and mounted it as a tombstone in Elizabeth Hall Cemetery.[6] "She knitted, also used spinning wheel, but it was more necessity than hobby."[47] Nancy was "small, dark complected, and she went blind in late years." [46] "Grandma was blind seven years before she died. She was about my size." [per Marjorie Bunce] Nancy died February 14, 1928 in Delaware, Logan County, Arkansas and is interred at Elizabeth Hall Cemetery, New Blaine, Logan County, Arkansas.

    3. Several counties in Arkansas, and in other states as well, have two county seats. Usually this was done because of problems with some areas in the county having access to the county seat if there were just one. My husband's home county, Clay, has two because during certain times of the year flooding made it impossible for some people to get to the one. They needed a second one. Even today, it is just sometimes more sensible to have two to make county offices available to everyone they serve. Yes, Logan County has two county seats, Paris and Booneville. The latter became a county seat about 1900 when county population deemed it necessary. County records prior to 1900 are all housed in Paris. Booneville only has records dating from 1900.
