Author: bettyccrn Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.arkansas.counties.logan/3470.1.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I have marriage records covering that time span with a gap from 1934 to 1937, and I do not find Annie (or any variation of the name) Love listed. The years from 1934 to 1937 have not been indexed for the public, so, short of a trip to Paris to check the records in the courthouse, I don't have any suggestions. I don't live in Arkansas, so I can't be any help in that department. Good luck! Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I'm planning to order the death certs anyway, so I'll check both DOBs. I have a DOB for Ellen of 4 April 1881. I need her cert to prove her parentage anyway. She was my grandfather's older half-sister. I just hope whoever providing the info knew the names. On another note -- where might I find marriage info for Ralph and Susan's daughter, Annie LOVE? She was born in 1915 and might have married in Logan County prior to her father's death in 1937. Author: bettyccrn Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.arkansas.counties.logan/3470.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: They are buried in Corley Cemetery in Logan County. This cemetery is on the west side of State Highway 309 between Paris and Havana and is closer to Paris than Havana. It is a well-cared-for cemetery. The listings are: Ellen Love, b. 01-1883, d. 10-1932, and Ralph Eugene Love, b. 08-1874, d. 03-1936. Whoever placed the stones had Ralph's death date wrong if the Arkansas Death Index is correct. 3. Betty, the Logan County Historical Society publishes or did publish a Magazine called Wagon Wheels, as well as some books about the areas in Logan County. I do not know if the Logan County Historical Society still has a website or not. I have 3 or 4 of the Wagon Wheel magazines. Good stuff in there. 1. Re: [ARLOGAN] Books
    2. There is a book, Logan County Arkansas, Its history and its people. You might contact the Booneville Library, _Booneville Public Library & McConnell Exhibit_ (http://www.booneville.com/C-Library.htm) , they can probably tell you who you can buy one from. My mom purchased mine at the library. The book was published I believe in 1987, however it has a lot of information in it. (Wish they would do a updated one. I would love to contribute. It has helped a lot with my own research. You might try Amazon.com. If there is anything you would like for me to look up in my book while you are finding a copy, feel free to contact me, _Debbi5911@aol.com_ (mailto:Debbi5911@aol.com) . I appreciate all the help I get with my research so I am always happy to help. Debbie **************Psssst...Have you heard the news?
