I have Kapok also but if my memory is right I got it from others and I do think i remember his middle initial for sure. I need to look to be sure. This isn't my direct line, I was helping a friend who I matched in a DNA test. I think the folks that know more about this can link Joseph into their know Phillips in NC one day. I am not the daughter of Paulin Castillo. That may have been a generic question. I am Mary Frances Izell Hodges. I am the daughter of Eva Harwell and E. A. Izell. There, however, are Smiths and Taylors in my family three. I'll have to contact one of my Izell cousins about the Spradins as that name sounds famliar. A Henry Smith married my great granfather's daughter, Belle, She died in child birth. I don't know if Henry remarried or not. -----Original Message----- From: gc-gateway@rootsweb.com <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> To: ARLOGAN-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Mon, Dec 21, 2009 5:32 pm Subject: Re: [ARLOGAN] downs This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Is this the Betty from the Paris, Arkansas website? I should have known to ask you first. I am forever saying thanks to you. I do appreciate your help so much. And if this is not who I think it is, please forgive me. Could Voyza/Voisa/Voisie have been married twice? First to Horton and then Brewer. I found her in the California Death index and her mother's name was Freeman. I attended her funeral with my Dad Everett E. Rogers in California when I was still in my teens, that had to be in the 1960's. You would think that I would remember where that was, but for the life of me can't seem to recall. She died of Leukemia. I have been looking for Jennie Rogers family, she died young and must have been married to Sewell. Do you know anything about Voyza'a or Jennie's children? I am working with a person who is from the Hueytown, Alabama Historical Society and has researched the John Rogers family for many years. I noticed on his website that he didn't have information for my Grandfather Remus Edward Rogers. He didn't know where Remus migrated to and asked for more information, so I am doing all that I can. I will leave you the link to the John Rogers tree here, if you are interested. I don't know if this link will work.
