If you will check very close to the 1910 census I posted, you will see I have no birth month or year listed. This is the 1910, not 1900 census. Lynn. Thank you so much for your thoughfulness. Well, you confirmed that this couldn't be my Evans because he was born in 1850 in Tenn although I think, in the 1880 census, he thought he was born in Arkansas. His father was born in NC and his mother Kentucky. He was 30, in 1880, and was yet unmarried. His name was Wm. Pinkney Evans. He went by the name of Pink or Pinkney. He is buried in Morgonton, Van Buren County; even tho I can't find his burial. My momma said he had a daughter, Nancy. Lynn: This helps, but, the one I am really interested in is Nancy Walker. I thought perhaps that perhaps when Wyle and Nancy Evans got married in Logan County there would be her father living close by (William Evans), and I could pick up the pieces of this family. I am trying to determine if Nancy's William Evans is also part of my family...
