I have some information on Nancy Green and Hugh McElhannon. They are in my family history. That cemetery is slightly South east of Patterson's Bluff so it's quite likely the place to find your McDonald's. I'm hoping to attend a family reunion at Paris at the beginning of July, and will probably go to the cemetary but don't know that I'll have much time. I wonder if there is a published book of Logan county cemeteries? The public library and the court house in Paris are both well-organised and have really nice staffs. ----- Original Message ----- From: <wandab@arkansas.net> To: <ARLOGAN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, March 30, 2006 6:11 PM Subject: [ARLOGAN] McKendree Cemetery > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: McDonald, Rowlett, McKinney, McCutcheon, Womack > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/kV.2ADE/1824 > > Message Board Post: > > I am trying to find out if there are two McKendree Cemeteries (McKendree Cemetery or Old McKendree Cemetery) in Logan County, Arkansas. I am looking for a record of William Washington Heathcoat and Sarah Lucinda Franklin. I would, also, like a record of his death and his daughter, Annie, buried in Moore's Chapel cemetery by the Petit Jean River. She died bet 1871 and 1875 and his death I am not certain. I know that the river was flooded and they had to take him over on a raft for burial. If the 1927 flood was the only one, he would have been abt 93 yrs. old. I would appreciate any help with this family. Linda

Would it be possible for anyone to look up an obituary for David G Spires who died on 19 Dec 1914. I would really appreciate it. Barbara Fazzolari
His death certificate should name the cause of death. Try for an obit.
