    3. One of my greatuncles from Paris married a woman named Lyda Dearmore...........but I haven't located the notes. His name was James Thomas McElhannon. I don't know the dates offhand or remember if she was his first wife or second. He had children by both marriages, but the only grandchildren came from the first marriage. He has a granddaughter from the first marriage living in Magazine, I think.

    1. Re: [ARLOGAN] Dearmore name
    2. I see the name Dearmore listed. My grandfather Clebern Henry had an older sister that married a Dearmore. Her name was Isabella and his name was William James Dearmore, JR. They moved to Mountain Home from TN and my great grandparents William P. and Martha Henry moved to Franklin County from TN. Two of the daughters moved to Logan County from Franklin County after getting married. and that was Joann Henry Mills and Betty Henry Boydston. Isabella was older than them. Isabella was born in 1846 and my grandfather was born in 1875. The children of Isabella were Leonodas, Archibald, Mary,William James, Emma Jane, Charles Cole and Henry Allen. I know some of the children moved to Logan/Franklin before moving on to Oklahoma/California. I have not done to much on my genealogy for the past couple of years due to health problems of my husband and working on top of that. He is getting better and will be able to start doing more on my genealogy. Have to start digging out all of my notes. Verna Eichhorn Colorado

    2. Actually I know very little about Thomas Clark Pugh except he was considerably older than Kathryn Ockenfels, he was a railroad engineer, they lived in Van Buren, Crawford Co., Arkansas. They had two children, Thomas David, born 1918, & Conrad (named after Kathryn's father) Pugh. One of the children became an attorney I have been told.
