Olenich, If I understand correctly the Titsworth's were large land owner's in what is now Logan county [Sarber county earlier]. Also Logan county is made up of corners of 4 neighboring counties; Yell,Scott, Johnson and Franklin. The town of Roseville is located on the AR River and the land from there to the top of Mt. Magazine was all owned at one time by Mr. Titsworth. There is a community near the small, once busseling town of Driggs, AR called Titsworth community, earlier it had a church, also. You might try looking at the Logan county cemeteries for her name. Some Titsworth descendants still live in the area, they might know where her grave is or help you someway. 3. You may want to also look under Hammonds and Hammond. Also, check cross referencing to Coffey, Coffee. I know that sounds strange but at that time and in near geographic location there are both Taylor and Story, Storie, that married women in the Coffey(ee) families. If she carried the married name rather than the maiden name. I have a Rosanna Hammond(s) Hartley who was the widow of a John Hartley that married a Coffee and was just fortunate enough to make a connection through the Hartley forum to get it straight. Comming thru Ft. Smith you would take hwy 22 East thru the small towns of; Barling,Bloomer,Charleston, Branch, Ratcliff and Caulksville, then just outside of Caulksville the 911 road sign marks; SHAVER RD. to the right and you follow the main Dirt road most of the way thru [there is a almost unnoticable old cemetery on the right, MT. Cemetery go on quite a ways further and comming down hill on the right hand side you will see the cemetery, with a small frame church building in front of the fenced in cemetery, a lake lies right behind it. Another way and maybe shorter time on the dirt roads would be to turn at the intersection of 23 and 22 in the middle of Caulksville and travel about 6 miles comming to a dirt road on the left [the only one] and it is marked [911]Shaver RD it is about half the time shorter reaching from this end of the Shaver RD. You will cross a small old concrete bridge and start up the hill- side and it is just right there on the left hand side. It is a neat well kept cemetery and services are still held at the little church. What family lines are you connected with in this area? I have lived here most of my life. Happy Searching and Many Finds, Carol Ann Oakes Young, from a nearby community of Shaver RD

    1. [ARLOGAN] Chancellor family
    2. I am looking for information on the John and Sarah Jane (Trickett) Chancellor family who were located near Booneville in Logan County in the 1870 and 1880 Census in Arkansas. My grandfather, Edmund Franklin Chancellor was one of the younger children of this marriage. The story that I am told by the family relates that Edmund moved to Oklahoma Territory shortly after 1890 around the time of the death of his parents. I would like any information relating to this, including burial info for John and Sarah Jane if possible. It seems that they would have been in their 50s or 60s at the time of their deaths if this is true. The oldest son Thomas Nelson Chancellor was married there in Logan County, we have info on that. He moved to Oklahoma Territory around this time also. Edmund moved in with a family in SE Oklahoma and lived in a soddy and eventually married this familys daughter. I have always heard that Frank, as my grandfather was called, was a very short man with bright red hair. I have other information concerning him for anyone else researching this line. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Danny Chancellor Danokee @aol.com
